Rack Trak is a browser-based inventory management tool that helps businesses track stock, organise items, and monitor inventory in real time. As the Lead UI/UX Designer in a team of six people (two designers and four developers), I collaborated on planning features, interviews, branding, UI/UX design, and user testing. Also, I worked on creating the landing page design and coding.

The streamlined POS system is designed for speed and simplicity, allowing staff to quickly take orders with minimal training. Menu items are organised into categories and update the order summary automatically. The system supports desktop and tablet, enabling real-time sales and inventory visibility.

Catalogue Management with AI-Powered Menu Suggestions

The catalogue feature lets owners create and update menu items, inventory, and options with ease. Integrated AI suggestions analyse your existing menu and recommend ingredient usage for new items. This helps optimise stock use and encourages seasonal or creative offerings without technical effort.

Waste Management Tracking and Visual Analytics

Users can log waste events with quantity and reason, helping maintain accurate records and accountability. Data is visualised using interactive charts to uncover waste trends and problem areas. This supports informed decisions for reducing costs and improving sustainability.

Real Time Alerts and Visual Tracking of Sales and Inventory

Our system provides real-time alerts when stock runs low or sudden sales trends emerge. Dashboards display inventory and sales metrics over time, allowing proactive restocking and performance tracking. This ensures smooth daily operations with fewer disruptions and better planning.
